Located off CR-1089 near Stanford in Lincoln County, the Middle Cedar Creek Lake boat ramp provides convenient access to Kentucky's newest impoundment. Cedar Creek Lake was created in 2002 and spans approximately 792 acres, making it a suitable destination for kayakers, canoeists, and recreational boaters of all skill levels. The ramp is situated on the middle section of the lake, offering a good central access point for exploring the water.
This access site benefits from the lake's unique 300-foot buffer zone established by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources, which protects shoreline fishing access throughout the lake. Paddlers and boaters will find this middle ramp particularly useful for accessing the central portions of the lake. Three boat ramps are available around Cedar Creek Lake, along with a fishing pier and other amenities. The area is accessible via Highway 1770 west of Crab Orchard—turn north on Cowan Road toward the ramp facilities. This is an ideal launch point for day trips and recreational paddling on calm, protected lake waters.
