CEDAR LAKE BOAT RAMP

Cedar Lake is a 139-acre lake in Kiel, Manitowoc County, featuring a well-maintained public boat ramp with two concrete launch lanes and a gentle 11% slope suitable for various watercraft. The ramp provides excellent launch depth (over 3 feet) and includes a boarding dock for easy entry and exit. The access area offers a 1-acre blacktopped parking lot located southwest of the ramp across Rockville Road, with amenities including a port-a-pier, toilet building, and lighting for visibility.

This quieter recreational lake has a 10 HP motor limit and maximum depth of 21 feet, making it ideal for paddlers, canoeists, and small boats seeking a peaceful paddling experience with minimal motorboat traffic. The site includes a fishing area, though note that swimming is not permitted except at designated beach areas. There is no potable water available at the access, and no marina is located on the lake. The blacktopped road and launch area make this a convenient, accessible option for launching kayaks, canoes, and small recreational boats.
