About This Access Site
**Location & Access:** The Cedar Street Boat Ramp is located at 968 Cedar Street at the end of Cedar Street in Minocqua, Oneida County, Wisconsin. This town-owned facility provides access to Minocqua Lake and the greater Lake Minocqua chain of lakes. The ramp offers a straightforward launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats.

**Facilities & Permits:** The Cedar Street ramp features extremely limited parking, so plan accordingly if launching during peak times. Note that there is no launch dock available at this location. From April 1st through November 30th, all tow vehicles are required to purchase either a daily permit or seasonal use permit through the Town of Minocqua—the old envelope and drop-box payment system is no longer in use. Confirm current permit requirements and pricing through the Town of Minocqua before your visit.

**Paddling Opportunities:** Once launched, paddlers can explore Minocqua Lake or extend their journey throughout the connected lake chain, with options to paddle south to Lake Tomahawk or north to explore additional waters in the Minocqua system.
