About This Access Site
Located at the confluence of the Tualatin and Willamette Rivers in West Linn, Cedaroak offers convenient access to the Willamette River for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The 2-acre site features a recently renovated boat ramp with modern infrastructure including a dock system, improved ramp structure, and dedicated parking. This is a city-managed facility (contact: City of West Linn, 503-557-4700) situated next to Willamette Park.

Paddlers launching here have good options for exploration, including access to nearby Cedar Island Park, a 14-acre island that can be reached by boat. The site provides a natural starting point for those looking to paddle or boat on the Willamette River. The location at the river confluence also offers wildlife viewing opportunities in an area adjacent to the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge. If this ramp is experiencing high use or if you prefer alternatives, consider other Willamette River launch sites in the area, including Park Boat Ramp in nearby Gladstone.
