This access point is best suited for kayaks, canoes, and smaller boats due to the lake's limited size and shallow water conditions near the launch area. **Launching or retrieving larger boats is not recommended** at this ramp. Before heading out, ensure your watercraft and trailer are well-suited to the shallow water conditions near the launch.

The lake offers decent fishing opportunities, including bass, northern pike, and crappie, particularly in spring and early summer. Paddlers should be aware of underwater hazards—notably an old beaver dam with submerged logs extending roughly 30 feet into the water on the left side of the ramp.
