About This Access Site
Chatfield State Park offers excellent boating and paddling access to the South Platte River and Chatfield Reservoir. The north boat ramps, located on the northwest side of the reservoir, provide eight launch lanes and four courtesy docks for launching kayaks, canoes, motorized boats, and other watercraft.

The South Platte River flows through Chatfield Reservoir, offering a mix of flatwater and gentle current for paddlers.
