About This Access Site
The Chattahoochee Park boat ramp provides access to the Flint River and its connection to Lake Seminole, a 37,500-acre reservoir managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. This scenic access point is located about 2 miles from the town of Chattahoochee, Florida, off of Booster Club Road.

The boat ramp is part of the larger Chattahoochee Park, which offers picnic shelters, a swim beach, and other recreation amenities. The park is reservable and can be reached by continuing straight at the Y intersection on Booster Club Road and following signs to the boat ramp shelter. Paddlers and boaters will find the ramp conveniently located near the Turkey Flight shelter.

Lake Seminole and the Flint River provide excellent opportunities for fishing, boating, and other water-based recreation. Paddlers can explore the river's scenic shoals and rapids, while powerboaters have access to the expansive lake. Facilities like the Chattahoochee Park boat ramp help make this beautiful natural area accessible to a variety of users.

Overview
Chattahoochee Park is located on Lake Seminole in Southwest Georgia. The lake and surrounding area provide a variety of outdoor recreational opportunities for fishing, camping, boating, picnicking, hiking, biking and birding.
There are 3 reservable picnic shelters in the park, each offering spectacular views of the lake.  Chattahoochee Park offers great views, multiple places to bank fish or fish from a pier and places to play. 
Recreation
Lake Seminole is known as one of the best sites for sports fishing in America. Extensive stump and grass beds provide abundant cover where anglers fish for largemouth, hybrid, striped and white bass. Sizable populations of catfish, crappie and bream are also present. Over 79 species of fish have been identified in the lake.
Facilities
Chattahoochee park offers opportunities for fishing, wildlife viewing, picnicking, and playing. A boat ramp provides access to the lake. There are restroom facilities within walking distance of all 3 shelters. A playground, tennis court, basketball court are located near Turkey Flight Shelter and a sand volleyball court is located near Swim Beach Shelter. Potable water and electricity are available at all shelters. All shelters have 8 picnic tables and a grill available for use. 
Natural Features
Lake Seminole has a surface area of 37,500 acres with 376 miles of shoreline. A pine and hardwood forest covers the rolling hills around the lake.  
A variety of wildlife makes its home around Seminole Lake, including raccoons, alligators, ring-necked ducks, canvasbacks, scaup, hawks, bald eagles, black vultures, tortoises and snakes.
