About This Access Site
**Access & Amenities**
Red Bridge Landing in Wilbraham provides cartop and trailer boat access to the Chicopee River above the dam. The site offers 2 cartop spaces and 5 trailer parking spaces. The landing is wheelchair accessible and includes picnic tables and a picnic shelter. Free parking is available. To reach the site from Route 21, turn right on Chapin Street at the first light, then left on East Street at the second light; continue approximately 2.6 miles to find the boat ramp on the left.

**Paddling Options**
The Chicopee River can also be accessed from Canal Street & Grape Street or from Front Street near Davitt Memorial Bridge in the nearby Springfield area. This access point positions paddlers to explore the Chicopee River corridor, which flows through western Massachusetts. The area is near the New England National Scenic Trail and Springfield Armory National Historic Site, offering paddlers opportunities to combine river time with other regional recreation.

**Note:** The boat ramp and overflow parking area below the dam are currently closed; use only the Red Bridge Landing fisherman access above the dam.
