The Chiloquin boat ramp provides access to the Williamson River via a recently renovated facility featuring a concrete boat ramp, ADA-accessible parking, and vault restroom facilities. Located just off Highway 97 near Chiloquin in Klamath County, the access point is easy to find: heading north on 97, turn right onto Highway 422 toward Chiloquin, then turn right again at the river access location within about 1/8 mile. This is a day-use, non-reservable facility managed by the Chiloquin Ranger District.
Paddlers and boaters can expect improved infrastructure at this popular put-in, which recently underwent construction to replace outdated equipment with modern amenities. The site serves as a gateway to the lower Williamson River and connects to the Modoc Point Main Canal system. The area offers opportunities to explore this section of the Cascade Range waterway, with nearby access points at Modoc Point Road and Collier State Park further upstream. For current facility hours or additional information, contact the Chiloquin Ranger District office at (541) 783-4001.
