**Access & Requirements:** Church Lake Drive East provides boat ramp access to Lake Tapps in Sumner. **Important: For the 2025 season, this launch is restricted to Bonney Lake residents only.** Residents must purchase a Boat Launch parking pass from the Bonney Lake Police Department before launching.

**Alternatives:** If you're not a Bonney Lake resident, Lake Tapps North Park on the lake's northeast shore offers public boat access with a boat ramp, dock, restrooms, and bank access. Additional public launch options include Mayfield Lake Park (mid-lake, east side) and Allan Yorke Park (southwest corner), both offering concrete ramps and parking.

**About Lake Tapps:** This scenic lake offers 10,000 feet of shoreline and is suitable for kayaking, canoeing, and motorboating. The lake provides a range of recreational opportunities with nearby amenities including picnic areas, swimming zones, and seasonal services.
