The Circle Drive boat ramp provides easy access to Badin Lake, a 5,350-acre reservoir on the Yadkin River in Uwharrie National Forest. The lake offers excellent opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and recreational boating.
With 115 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 200 feet, Badin Lake provides ample space for exploring and enjoying the water. The reservoir experiences minimal water level fluctuations, making it a reliable destination for paddlers and motorized boaters alike. The surrounding Uwharrie National Forest also offers hiking trails, equestrian routes, and four-wheel drive paths for land-based adventures.
Several campgrounds, including the reservable ARROWHEAD CAMPGROUND and BADIN LAKE GROUP CAMP, are located within 10 miles of the Circle Drive access point, providing convenient options for overnight stays. Boaters, kayakers, and canoeists can take advantage of the boat ramp to easily launch and access the expansive Badin Lake for a day of recreation on the water.
