This public boat launch provides convenient access to Clam Lake, a nine-mile lake in Antrim County near Bellaire. The site features both a developed boat ramp and carry-in access, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. Amenities include parking, dedicated trailer parking, and restrooms on-site.
**Important:** A Michigan DNR Recreation Passport is required to use this access site. The lake offers a scenic, tranquil paddling environment with over 250 properties along the shoreline, providing good opportunities for exploration. The access point is centrally located to reach both ends of the lake. For supplies or local information, Butch's Bait and Tackle is nearby on Crystal Springs Road.
