About This Access Site
**Location & Facilities:** This boat ramp is located in South Vienna, Clark County, OH, at the southern tip of Clark Lake off Vernon-Ashbury Road and Old Columbus Road. The access point includes a maintained boat ramp, trailer parking, and a port-a-john facility, provided and maintained by the Ohio Division of Wildlife.

**Boating Conditions & Regulations:** Clark Lake is subject to a 10 horsepower motor restriction, making it ideal for kayakers, canoeists, and anglers seeking a quieter paddling experience. Be aware that the eastern side of the lake features shallow, heavily vegetated areas—good for wildlife viewing but requiring careful navigation. The lake supports a healthy fishery with bass, crappie, and catfish, attracting both paddlers and anglers.

**Nearby Recreation:** The access point is conveniently located within reach of additional paddling and recreation opportunities, including Clarence J. Brown Dam and Reservoir, situated about 7 miles northeast on Buck Creek near Springfield. This makes Clark Lake a good base for exploring the greater Sinking Creek watershed.
