Located in Maplewood Park on the east side of Clear Lake near Gibbon, Minnesota, this DNR-maintained access point offers convenient launching for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The site features a concrete plank, double-wide boat ramp suitable for various watercraft, along with a dock for easier entry and exit. A fishing pier, which is handicap accessible, provides an alternative way to access the shoreline.
The parking area is well-equipped with 24 dedicated vehicle/trailer spaces, 21 additional grass overflow spaces, and 11 single-vehicle parking spots—making it a good choice for busy days. Clear Lake itself is a substantial 652-acre water body with a maximum depth of 34 feet, offering stable conditions for paddling and boating. The access is located off Clear Lake Drive and is positioned across from Kieslers Campground, making it easy to locate.
