About This Access Site
The Clear Lake North access point is located off Clear Lake Drive on the north side of this 652-acre lake in Watkins, Meeker County. This DNR-maintained public access features a concrete plank boat ramp with parking for approximately three vehicles during loading and unloading. The site is situated within Sportsman Park, providing a convenient launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats accessing the northern portion of the lake.

Paddlers should note that Clear Lake reaches a maximum depth of 34 feet, offering decent water depth for most small craft. An 84-foot handicapped accessible fishing pier is located within walking distance just north of the boat ramp, which can serve as a useful landmark. The lake's size and facilities make it suitable for recreational paddling, fishing, and boating. For additional amenities and alternative access, a second public DNR access point is available on the southeast side of the lake off MN Highway 14.
