Clear Lake (North)

The Clear Lake North access point, located off Clear Lake Drive in Gibbon near Sportsman Park, provides a convenient launch for paddlers and boaters accessing this 652-acre lake. The site features a concrete plank boat ramp with parking for approximately three vehicles during loading and unloading. An 84-foot handicapped-accessible fishing pier is located within walking distance north of the ramp, making this a good option for anglers and families seeking alternative water recreation.

Clear Lake offers a maximum depth of 34 feet and provides opportunities for kayaking, canoeing, and motorized boating. The north access complements a second DNR-maintained public access on the southeast side of the lake off MN Highway 14, allowing paddlers flexibility in their launch and takeout options depending on wind conditions and desired paddling routes.
