About This Access Site
**Clear Lake South** is a medium-sized county-owned public access located on the southeast shore of Clear Lake near Waseca. The site features a single concrete boat ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and small recreational boats. A gravel parking lot is available for vehicles and trailers.

**Lake Overview:** Clear Lake is a 652-acre water body with a maximum depth of 34 feet, making it suitable for various paddling activities. The lake is relatively calm and accessible, with DNR-maintained public accesses available on both the north and southeast sides. A fishing pier is also located in the area at the nearby Lost Dog and Fox Hunters County Park for those interested in angling from shore.

**Getting There:** The south access is located just off MN Highway 14 on the southeast side of the lake in Waseca County. This provides convenient highway access for paddlers launching from the southern portion of the lake.
