About This Access Site
**Access Overview**
Located just east of Edgewater Marina in Cleveland, this Lake Erie access point features an eight-lane boat launch facility with a courtesy dock, restrooms, and parking for 100 vehicles with trailers. The site serves paddlers accessing Cahoon Creek and frontal Lake Erie waters. Boat drop-off is available in a temporary pull-off zone, and a new roundabout entrance with the Cleveland Lakefront Bikeway provides improved vehicle access to the area.

**Paddling Guidance**
Kayakers and canoeists should note that paddling access follows along the rock jetty inside the buoys on the far side of the beach—please stay clear of the designated swim area. The site connects to scenic recreational corridors, including an all-purpose trail linking Edgewater Park to Wendy Park (a wildlife habitat) and a historic Coast Guard Station at the Cuyahoga River mouth. Boaters should be aware that launch fees are required. For smaller craft like canoes and kayaks, the nearby Gordon Park Boat Launch also provides dedicated access.
