**Access & Facilities**
The Gordon Ramp provides direct access to Lake Erie via E. 72nd Street (off I-90/State Route 2). The lakeside section features multiple boat ramps, with a dedicated launch area suitable for smaller craft including kayaks and canoes. The facility includes a parking lot, picnic areas with grills, fishing platforms, and onshore amenities. Paddlers should note that the historic Doan Brook once emptied into Lake Erie at this location before being culverted during I-90's construction in the 1950s.

Lake Erie is a large, open water body subject to rapid and significant weather changes. Paddlers should exercise caution and take appropriate safety precautions before heading out.
