**Location & Access:** Clifton Boat Ramp is the uppermost public access point on Pool 4 of the Kentucky River, located near Versailles in Woodford County. From Versailles, take Clifton Road (KY 1964) and turn left on Buck Run Road—the boat ramp is situated just before the marina.
**What to Expect:** This full-service access point offers a boat ramp, free parking, picnic facilities, and year-round bathrooms, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and trailerable recreational boats. The Kentucky River in this section meanders through the scenic Kentucky bluegrass region and is known for reliable recreational boating. Note that a separate marina with membership fees operates nearby. Just downstream after the river turns left, watch for a rocky outcrop at the mouth of Ross Run on the north bank.
