The lake accommodates shallow-draft, lightweight vessels including fishing boats, canoes, and inflatables—making it well-suited for paddlers. Both shore and pier fishing are available. If you're planning to moor an unpowered boat overnight, note that registration is required and mooring is permitted only from March 1 through November 30.
