Cobscook Bay

Located in Pembroke on the northern Maine coast, the Cobscook Bay Boat Ramp provides public access to one of Maine's most scenic coastal bays. The facility features a cement boat ramp serviced by a float, making it suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and trailered boats. Parking is available, though daytime spaces are limited during peak seasons.

Cobscook Bay offers excellent paddling opportunities with access to both protected inner bay waters and more open coastal exploration. Paddlers can explore the bay's tidal flats, coves, and nearby islands while enjoying views of the surrounding Maine coastline. The area is known for its active maritime character—you may encounter fishermen harvesting clams and bait worms from mudflats or collecting periwinkles in the intertidal zone. The nearby Roosevelt Campobello International Park offers additional exploration opportunities across the water.
