Cocodrie Bayou Boat Ramp provides access to Cocodrie Bayou in Concordia Parish, Louisiana, within the Bayou Cocodrie National Wildlife Refuge. Paddlers and boaters can launch here to explore this small, stream-like bayou and its satellite waterways including Bay Toni and Bay Barron. A pipeline canal connects the launch to the main bayou, offering scenic paddling through some of the Southeast's least disturbed bottomland hardwood forests.
**Important Operational Notes:** All refuge roads, parking areas, and boat ramps are closed 1.5 hours after sunset until 4 a.m., so plan your launch and takeout accordingly. Be sure to check current refuge regulations and maps before your visit. The area is managed as critical habitat for Louisiana black bears and supports diverse wildlife, making it an excellent destination for nature-focused paddling and wildlife viewing.
