Located 3 miles south of Emerald near Lincoln, the Conestoga boat ramp provides excellent access to Conestoga Lake, a 230-acre State Recreation Area. The facility features a modern two-lane boat ramp with a wheelchair-accessible dock, protected by breakwaters on the lake's north shore that offer shelter from southerly winds. This makes it an ideal launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters looking for a well-maintained facility.
The recreation area offers ample amenities to support your paddling adventure, including a 12-boat mooring dock, two piclisboa areas, a fish cleaning station, dump station, and vault toilets. Paddlers can explore the reservoir shoreline or access Holmes Creek below the dam for non-motorized boating. The site also features primitive camping for overnight trips and a playground, making it suitable for family outings.
