Cook Pond in Fall River offers a convenient paved boat ramp for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. Located at the end of Henry Street (off Laurel Street), the facility features a paved ramp and parking area that accommodates approximately 50 vehicles. This 158-acre pond provides a sheltered paddling environment and is part of the Mt Hope Bay watershed in southeastern Massachusetts.
**Important seasonal closure:** The facility operates under a winter management schedule, closing completely Monday–Friday from December 1 through March 31, and closing at dusk on weekends during this same period. Plan your visits accordingly if paddling during winter months. The site's proximity to Narragansett Bay and nearby recreational areas makes it a useful launch point for exploring the region's coastal and estuarine waters.
