**Location & Access:** Doctor's Creek Park is located on the north side of Jim Chapman Lake (formed by the South Sulphur River impoundment) near Cooper, Texas. The park is easily accessible via FM 71 from Texas Highway 154/19—turn west at Birthright onto FM 71, travel 4 miles to FM 3505, then turn north to the park entrance. The facility is less than 30 minutes from Cooper, Commerce, and Sulphur Springs.
**Facilities & Amenities:** The Doctor's Creek Unit features a boat ramp with 3 lanes, including 1 handicap-accessible lane, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The park offers ample parking (capacity for 90 vehicles) and additional day-use amenities including picnic areas, a beach, fish-cleaning tables, and a lighted fishing pier. The nearby towns provide convenient access to restaurants, shopping, and local attractions.
