**Location & Access:** Located in Klondike, Delta County, this two-lane concrete boat ramp provides convenient access to Jim Chapman Lake (created by the South Sulphur River impoundment). From Texas Highway 154/19, turn west on Birthright Road onto FM 71, travel 4 miles to FM 3505, and turn north to the park entrance. The facility offers parking for up to 90 vehicles.
**Facilities & Recreation:** John's Creek is one of two boat ramp locations at Cooper Lake State Park's South Sulphur Unit (the other being Gull's Bluff with six lanes). The lake provides a peaceful paddling and fishing destination surrounded by state park and wildlife management areas. Amenities include boat docks, fishing piers, and fish-cleaning stations. Kayak rentals are available at the park if you don't have your own boat. The lake is known for catfish and crappie fishing. No fishing license is required to fish from shore within the state park.
**Camping & Facilities:** Cooper Lake State Park offers multiple overnight options including campsites with water and electricity, walk-in campsites, and equestrian facilities at the South Sulphur Unit.
