Copan Point is a day-use access area on Copan Lake, a 4,850-acre reservoir on the Little Caney River located in Washington County near Copan, Oklahoma. The facility features a boat ramp with a courtesy dock, a separate fishing dock, and swimming beach. The lake offers extensive recreational opportunities in a scenic prairie setting surrounded by grasslands and croplands. For boater questions or information, contact the facility at 918-532-4334.

To reach Copan Point from Highway 75, travel 2 miles west on Highway 10, then 1 mile north on County Road 3970. Turn left on W 850 Road and continue 1 mile to the park entrance. The ramp is located approximately 15 miles northeast of Ponca City. A local bait and tackle shop (Copan Bait & Tackle, 918-331-6639) is available in town for supplies.

The lake is well-established for fishing and boating, with good populations of largemouth bass, crappie, and catfish. While Copan Point itself is a day-use area, nearby Washington Cove Campground offers full camping facilities with electric hookups if overnight stays are needed.

Hikers and horseback riders enjoy exploring the area on a 3 mile trail that winds through the wooded and open meadows of the lake shore.

11,000 acres of land around the lake have been set aside for wildlife management. These lands are open for public hunting of deer, waterfowl, bobwhite quail, turkey, cottontail rabbit and squirrel.Facilities
This day-use area offers one group picnic shelter that can accommodate up to 45 people. Amenities include flush and pit toilets, drinking water, and picnic sites with utility tables, grills and fire pits. A boat ramp with a courtesy dock, seperate fishing dock and a swimming beach with a volleyball court are also within the park.Natural Features
