The Corvallis Ramp, located at Willamette Park on the southeast side of town at the end of Fischer Lane (off Crystal Lake Drive), provides concrete boat access to the Willamette River at River Mile 132.5. The ramp is approximately 30 feet wide and is managed by the City of Corvallis. A seasonal floating dock is available from mid-April through October for easier loading and unloading.
Paddlers should be aware that the river above Corvallis contains numerous snags and strainers that require careful navigation. Strong currents in this section can make landing difficult at some locations. The site offers parking and basic facilities, making it a convenient put-in for kayakers and canoeists exploring the middle Willamette River. Nearby William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge provides excellent wildlife viewing opportunities for those interested in combining paddling with nature observation.
