Cottonwood Lake

**Location & Access:** Cottonwood Lake's public boat ramp is located on the west side of the lake near Butte in McHenry County. The ramp provides direct water access for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats looking to explore this 7,300-acre watershed.

**Facilities & Amenities:** The ramp area includes parking for vehicles and boat trailers, restrooms, and trash facilities. Boat rentals are available through the concessionaire at Cottonwood Cove for those without their own equipment. The site is suitable for launching small craft and recreational boating.
