Located in Woodworth, Warren County, County Line Park provides two 24-hour boat ramps for accessing Nutbush Creek and the expansive Kerr Lake reservoir. This is an excellent launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats seeking year-round water access. One of the ramps is sized for larger fishing tournaments, accommodating a range of vessel types and experience levels.
The 50,000-acre Kerr Lake reservoir extends 39 miles along the Roanoke River with 800 miles of wooded shoreline, offering varied paddling and boating opportunities from calm coves to more open water conditions. The site is operated as part of the John H. Kerr Dam and Reservoir recreation area and does not require reservations. In addition to the boat ramps, the park provides year-round camping facilities including tent, trailer, and RV sites, some with electric and water hookups—making it convenient for multi-day outings.
**Note:** Water levels can fluctuate seasonally, which may affect ramp usability during low-water periods. Contact the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or NC Division of Parks & Recreation for current conditions before your visit.
