**Location & Facilities:**
Cox Hollow Lake's boat ramp is located on the northwest side of this 81-acre lake in Dodgeville, Iowa County. This is the primary launching point for motorized boats and is preferred over the beach access at the north end, which involves a longer walk from parking. The boat ramp area includes bathroom facilities for visitor convenience.
**Boating Regulations & Recreation:**
Electric motors only are permitted on Cox Hollow Lake. The lake reaches a maximum depth of 28 feet and is home to panfish, largemouth bass, and walleye. Boat mooring is allowed at designated areas from May 1 through October 31. Canoe and rowboat rentals are available daily from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Kayakers and canoeists will find this a manageable paddle on a relatively small, protected lake.
