Coyote Point Marina offers excellent boating access to the South San Francisco Bay. The facility features three boat ramps, 16 boarding floats, and 486 total slips and tie-ups to accommodate a wide range of watercraft. Docks 27, 28, and 29 are ADA-accessible, with a long ramp connecting them. This makes launching and landing kayaks, canoes, and small motorboats relatively easy.
The marina is located within Coyote Point Recreation Area, providing paddlers and boaters with nearby opportunities for wildlife viewing, hiking, and other shoreline activities at the adjacent Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. With direct access to the open waters of the South Bay, this site is well-suited for exploring the bay's expansive shoreline and tidal marshes by small boat. However, users should be aware of the bay's size, wind, and tidal conditions when planning trips.
