The Cranberry Lake Village boat ramp is a hard-surface concrete ramp approximately 20 feet wide, located off Route 3 on Columbian Road adjacent to the outlet dam. This DEC-managed facility offers excellent accessibility and is wheelchair accessible, making it a welcoming option for paddlers of all abilities. The ramp accommodates both motorized boats and paddlecraft, with ample parking available for 55 vehicles and trailers.
**Note for kayakers and canoeists:** While this is an established public access point, paddlers should be aware that the ramp is located in a high boat traffic area and experiences significant wind exposure. Depending on your experience level and preferred paddling conditions, you may want to explore the other public launches around Cranberry Lake for quieter water access. The hard-surface ramp makes launching and retrieving straightforward, and the location near the dam provides easy orientation to the water body.
