Crawford Boat Ramp

Crawford Boat Ramp provides convenient access to Kitty Hawk Bay in Kill Devil Hills, making it an ideal launch point for kayakers, canoeists, and shallow-draft vessels exploring the Outer Banks waterways. Located on the soundside of Kitty Hawk near Colington Island, the ramp offers a single launch with courtesy docks and 18 parking spaces for vehicles with trailers, accommodating both day-use paddlers and boaters. The facility is easily accessible via U.S. 158 (the bypass) and West Kitty Hawk Road, just about 2 miles from the main highway.
