Crescent Bar

Crescent Bar offers convenient public boat launch access to Lake Wanapum, the calm impoundment created by the Priest Rapids Dam on the Columbia River near Quincy. The site features two boat ramp areas—one on and one off Crescent Bar Island—providing multiple launch options for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boats. A full-service marina is also available at the site for those needing additional services. Parking may require a Discover Pass; check current requirements before visiting.

Lake Wanapum is ideal for a variety of water activities, with its still-water conditions suitable for paddlers of all skill levels. The reservoir's calm character makes it an excellent choice for recreational boating, waterskiing, and touring. The scenic backdrop of snow-covered cliffs and semi-arid landscape typical of central Washington adds to the experience.
