Crescent Lake Site

Located on the northwest side of Crescent Lake near Rhinelander, this day-use access site offers a boat ramp suitable for launching kayaks, canoes, and motorized boats. The facility includes picnic tables and a restroom, making it convenient for paddlers planning a day outing. The ramp is open year-round, providing seasonal access to the lake.

**Important note for boaters:** The low-water ramp access requires that the Forest Service gate to the main campground be opened first. Before planning your visit, contact the Forest Service to confirm the ramp is accessible, as gate opening times may vary seasonally. There is one parking lot available, though ADA accommodations are not provided at this site. Paddlers should check current water conditions before launching, as water levels can affect ramp usability.
