Crooked Lake is a 162-acre lake located in Burnett County near Danbury, Wisconsin, offering a public boat ramp for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats. The concrete ramp provides reliable access to this moderately clear water body, which reaches a maximum depth of 37 feet. The lake's flat-to-gently-rolling terrain and sandy soils make it suitable for recreational paddling and fishing.
The access site includes a vault toilet facility. The lake supports panfish, largemouth bass, and northern pike, making it popular with anglers. Note that the site is closed from 11:00 pm to 4:00 am, and swimming, wading, and bathing are not permitted at the access area. This public access point is maintained by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, making it a reliable launching spot for day trips and exploration of the lake.
