Cross Creek Park (East)

Cross Creek Park's eastern access point is a dedicated kayak and canoe launch located in the quieter east corner of Cross Creek Lake near Avella, PA. This site offers easy portage access for paddlers launching non-motorized watercraft, making it ideal for kayakers and canoeists. Parking is limited at this location, so plan accordingly during peak use times.

**What to Know Before You Go:**
All boats using Cross Creek Park—whether motorized or non-motorized—must display a valid Washington County Boat Permit. For an alternative launch with more amenities, the main two-lane concrete ramp on the west side of the park offers over 50 trailer parking spaces and docks if you need those facilities. The park also features a roughly one-mile hiking trail connecting the main and eastern parking areas if you want to explore beyond the water.

Cross Creek Lake provides a pleasant paddling environment for recreational users of all skill levels, with the park serving as Washington County's largest recreational area.
