About This Access Site
Crows Pond Landing is a freshwater access point located in Chatham on Cape Cod, providing paddlers and small boaters with entry to Crows Pond. This is a landing facility only with no launching ramp, making it best suited for kayaks, canoes, and other small watercraft that can be hand-launched. The all-tide access means you can launch and recover your vessel at any water level, offering flexibility for your paddling schedule.

The pond offers opportunities to explore a scenic freshwater environment in one of Cape Cod's most beautiful areas. The location puts you near several notable recreation areas, including Cape Cod National Seashore with its 40 miles of protected beaches and marshes, and Monomoy National Wildlife Refuge, a haven for migratory birds. Local fish species include trout, largemouth bass, northern pike, pickerel, and black crappie, making the pond attractive for anglers as well as paddlers. Parking and facilities are available at the landing, though as a landing-only site without a formal ramp, be prepared to hand-carry your kayak or canoe to the water's edge.
