Custer State Park - Center

Located near the State Game Lodge in the heart of Custer State Park, this access point on Upper Grace Coolidge Creek provides convenient entry to a scenic creek system within the park. The launch is centrally positioned along US Highway 16A, near the Visitor Center and other park facilities, making it an easily accessible starting point for paddlers exploring this section of the Black Hills waterway. Grace Coolidge Creek offers a peaceful paddling experience through the park, with the creek flowing through campground areas and eventually reaching a swimming beach near the Game Lodge Campground.

This is a day-use access area ideal for kayakers and canoeists seeking a shorter paddle in a scenic setting.
