Dam Site

The Dam Site boat ramp on the Coosawattee River and Carters Lake provides convenient access for kayakers, canoeists, and small motorized boats. This three-lane ramp operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers offers a courtesy dock for loading and unloading. The surrounding Day Use Area includes picnic sites and restrooms.

The Coosawattee River is a scenic mountain river flowing through the Appalachian foothills.
