Dana Peak Park offers a convenient four-lane concrete boat ramp on the north shore of Stillhouse Hollow Lake, making it an excellent access point for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboaters. Located off US 190 west from I-35 (via FM 2410), the facility includes a fishing dock, courtesy dock, restroom facilities, and ample parking. The ramp is well-maintained and designed to accommodate multiple vessels, reducing wait times during peak use periods.
Stillhouse Hollow Lake spans 58 miles of shoreline and is known for being relatively uncrowded, providing peaceful paddling conditions for kayakers and canoeists. The 6,430-acre reservoir offers plenty of space to explore, and equipment rentals are available nearby for those without their own boats. Beyond water access, Dana Peak Park is one of only two reservable campgrounds on the lake and features picnic areas, a beach, hiking and biking trails, and both tent and RV camping options—making it ideal for multi-day paddling trips.
