About This Access Site
D'Arbonne State Park offers a convenient public boat launch for accessing Lake D'Arbonne, a large 15,250-acre recreational lake in Union Parish County. The park's main ramp is located mid-lake on the west side off Evergreen Road and features a concrete ramp with dock access, making it suitable for kayaks, canoes, and motorboats. Ample gravel parking is available for vehicles and trailers.

Lake D'Arbonne is known as a premier fishing destination with excellent populations of bass, crappie, catfish, and bream, making it an ideal paddling destination if you plan to fish. The park provides additional amenities including fishing piers, multiple boat docks, and a large event pavilion near the launch. With 65 campsites, cabins, and lodges available, paddlers can easily plan multi-day trips. Note that Highway 2 West Landing offers an alternative two-lane concrete ramp on the northwest section of the lake if needed.
