The public boat ramp is accessed via County Road 126 (West Street in Portola)—look for the 24N10 road, approximately 2.5 miles from the intersection. From Spokane, take US 2 north for about 30 miles to State Highway 211, then continue north on Highway 211 for 10 miles to the Public Fishing sign.
