Dean's North Fork Marina

Lake Isabella is a large reservoir created by the Isabella Dam on the Kern River. It offers diverse recreation opportunities, including fishing, boating, and water sports. The lake can experience variable water levels depending on snowpack and rainfall, so check current conditions before launching.
The boat ramp at Dean's North Fork Marina offers easy access to the lake. Nearby, the South Fork Recreation Campground provides restrooms, drinking water, and campsites, making this a convenient launching point for day trips or overnight excursions. Several other campgrounds are located within 10 miles of the marina as well. Paddlers and boaters should be aware of the Keysville Special Recreation Management Area, which is currently closed due to erosion.
