Deboullie Pond is a 277-acre lake in remote Aroostook County offering public boat access via an unimproved launch. To reach the site, travel north on ME Route 161 to the North Maine Woods checkpoint at St. Francis (where a user fee applies), then proceed south approximately 8 miles on logging roads. The final approach requires fording the Red River to access the boat launch at Deboullie Pond.
Be prepared for rough road conditions, as much of the access route involves gravel logging roads, many of which are privately owned. This is a remote location best suited for paddlers and boaters comfortable with backcountry access. The unimproved launch provides access to the pond itself as well as nearby Pushineer Pond, making it a good base for exploring this scenic area of the North Maine Woods.
