About This Access Site
Deep Bay Park in Oroville provides a boat launch facility for accessing Osoyoos Lake, a 5,723-acre reservoir straddling the US-Canada border. The park offers picnic shelters and additional amenities alongside the launch area, making it a convenient staging point for paddlers and boaters. Osoyoos Lake spans 14 miles and offers excellent recreational opportunities for kayakers, canoeists, and motorized boaters throughout the season.

The lake is popular for fishing and scenic paddling, with calm water suitable for both beginners and experienced paddlers. Summer conditions are generally ideal for water activities, though anglers report that fish move to deeper offshore areas as water temperatures cool in fall and winter. **Note:** The boat launch may be subject to periodic closures; if Deep Bay Park's ramp is unavailable, nearby Osoyoos Lake Veterans Memorial Park offers an alternative launch facility on the same water body.
