Deep Elm

Deep Elm is a rustic boat ramp located on the Brazos River near Graford in Palo Pinto County, providing access to Possum Kingdom Lake approximately one mile upstream from the spillway. The site features an older concrete ramp that can accommodate all boat types, including kayaks and canoes, though access is best during higher water levels. Limited parking is available on a rough concrete pad adjacent to the ramp, suitable for a couple of vehicles.

This access point works well for paddlers and boaters looking to explore the lake in either direction from the launch. Given its proximity to the spillway, the area offers room for various paddling distances and skill levels. Before launching, check current lake levels, as water accessibility can vary seasonally.
