Deer Lake Access is a public boat ramp located on the west shore of Deer Lake in Lincoln County, near Tomahawk, Wisconsin. The ramp provides convenient access to this 150-acre lake with excellent water clarity. Basic facilities include a concrete boat ramp with dock access and a small parking area, making it suitable for kayakers, canoeists, and motorboats of various sizes.
Deer Lake is a relatively deep lake with a maximum depth of 62 feet, offering good conditions for paddling and fishing. The lake supports a healthy fishery including Musky, Northern Pike, Walleye, Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, and Panfish. Note that the parking area has some private driveways nearby, so plan your visit accordingly and avoid extended parking. This is a popular spot, especially with early-morning anglers, so arriving early is recommended for optimal parking and ramp access.
